Jill Geer – CMO, USA Track & Field
A former award-winning sports writer and news editor, Jill Geer currently is CMO at USA Track & Field (USATF), the national governing body for the sport. A member of USATF’s executive team since 2000, in 2012 she assumed oversight of USATF’s newly created integrated marketing and communications department, with responsibility for the planning, development and execution of USATF’s marketing, sponsorship, communications, branding, crisis management and community outreach initiatives. In her role, she has led an organizational rebrand, tripled USATF’s social media presence and reach, and sold more than $5M in sponsorship while serving as the organization’s spokesperson and advisor to the CEO and board of directors.
